Boston Common Tree Lighting

Boston kicks off its holiday season on the Common with the lighting of the city's official Christmas tree and more than 50,000 lights across the park and Public Garden. Families gather for live music, carolers, hot cocoa, a visit from Santa, and a closing fireworks display. This event was created as a sample for the Family-Friendly Events community events.
