Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade

A long-running holiday tradition through the heart of downtown Silver Spring, featuring marching bands, giant balloons, dance troupes, floats, and community groups. The route wraps up with holiday music and an appearance by Santa Claus, making it a free morning out for the whole family. Spectators line Georgia Avenue rain or shine.
