Ford Holiday River Parade and Lighting Ceremony

Held each year on the day after Thanksgiving, this beloved San Antonio tradition kicks off the holiday season along the famous River Walk. Families gather to watch dozens of illuminated floats glide down the river and to see nearly 200,000 lights switched on for the season. The festivities begin near the Tobin Center with a lighting ceremony for all ages to enjoy. This event was created as a sample for the Family-Friendly Events community events.
