Festival of Lights and Carols

Old Town Fairfax lights up for an afternoon-into-evening celebration built for families, with live holiday music, children's crafts and activities, free s'mores and warm cider, and photos with Santa. The day builds to a community tree-lighting ceremony with caroling as the square glows. It is a free neighborhood tradition that draws families from across the city.
