Username policy

Your username is your public handle on Family-Friendly Events. You can change it, within a couple of limits that keep things stable for everyone.

How often you can change it

You can change your username once per week. This prevents rapid swapping that would make it hard for others to recognize you.

What happens to your old username

When you change it, your previous username enters a 30-day cooling-off period before it becomes available for anyone else to claim. This stops someone from immediately grabbing a handle you just released.

Privacy

Your username history is not publicly visible. Only you and our team can see past usernames on your account.

Choosing a good one

Pick something you're happy to keep. Usernames must be unique and follow our content standards — no impersonation, and nothing offensive.
