Saved searches & alerts
If you're planning ahead — or your area is still filling in with vendors — a saved search keeps an eye out for you, so you don't have to keep checking back.
Saving a search
Run a search on the vendors page with the filters you care about (keyword, location, virtual). Then choose Save this search. You'll need a free account. Manage everything you've saved from the Saved searches area of your dashboard.
Saving is just a bookmark — it doesn't sign you up for anything. If you'd also like to hear about new matches, tick Also alert me when new vendors match, or turn alerts on later from your saved-searches list.
Browsing an area we're still growing
If you land on a category or area with few vendors listed, you'll see an Alert me when one joins button. That saves the search for you with alerts switched on, so you'll hear as soon as someone joins.
Getting alerts
We check daily for new vendors matching your searches. Alerts arrive two ways:
- In your notifications on the site (the bell in the header) — one entry per search, so you can go straight to the matches.
- By email, as a single round-up covering all of your searches at once. You'll never get one email per search.
Round-ups go out weekly by default. You can change that to daily or monthly — or turn the email off entirely and keep just the on-site alerts — from Notifications in your account.
Quiet searches
If a saved search finds nothing for a long stretch, we stop checking it so you're not carrying a search that isn't turning anything up. Turn it back on any time from your saved-searches list.
Removing a search
Open Saved searches and choose Remove next to any one you no longer need.
