Profile visibility and publishing

You decide when your profile is visible, and you can change that at any time.

Published vs. hidden

A toggle in your dashboard switches your profile between Published and Hidden. A hidden profile is visible only to you and to our admins — it does not appear in search results, category pages, or location pages.

The first publish

The first time you publish, your profile goes to our moderation queue. While it is Pending, it is not yet public. We review it against our content standards and email you when it's approved, needs changes, or is declined with a reason. Most reviews are completed within one to two business days.

Editing after approval

Minor edits — contact details, formatting — go live right away. Substantive changes to your business description or your family-friendly answers reset your profile to Pending for a quick re-review. Your previously approved profile stays public during that re-review, so you never disappear from the directory.

Keeping your listing healthy

Publishing a profile that meets our Community Standards is the surest way to avoid delays. If your profile is declined, the email explains why and what to change.
