Creating a free account

You don't need an account to search the directory or request a quote — but a free account unlocks a few extras.

What an account adds

• Save favorite vendors so you can compare them side by side later.
• Save events to your list so you don't miss them, and add them to your calendar.
• Track your quote requests — the requests you send vendors are kept in one place.
• Leave a review after you've worked with a vendor.
• Submit a family event to the community calendar for other families to find.
• Message vendors and keep the conversation in one place — see Messaging vendors.

What we collect at sign-up

Creating an account asks for your name, a username, your email, and a password. We keep this to a minimum and never sell your personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and how it is used.

Your name is what a vendor sees when you message them, so it can't include an email address or a phone number. Your username is public, so pick one you're happy for others to see.

Already have an account?

If you sign up with an email address that already has an account, we won't make a second one. You'll see the usual "check your email" message, and we'll email that address with a link to sign in or reset your password.

Who can register

Accounts are for adults 18 and older. Family-Friendly Events is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
