Safety tips for families
We review every profile before it goes live, but we're a directory — not a booking service, and not a guarantee. A little diligence goes a long way toward a great event.
Before you book
- Meet first. For a first consultation, meet in a public place or over video.
- Verify credentials yourself. Ask for proof of insurance, licenses, or certifications, and confirm them directly.
- Read the reviews. Look at more than one, and weigh the overall picture.
- Ask for references. For bigger events, ask the vendor for past clients you can contact.
Get it in writing
Confirm the details — date, price, what's included — in writing before you pay anything. Be cautious of anyone who pressures you to pay in full up front through untraceable methods.
Remember what we do
We moderate profiles against our standards, but we don't vet, endorse, or guarantee individual vendors. The final decision — and the hiring relationship — is yours.
If something goes wrong
If a vendor's content or conduct on the platform breaks our standards, report it or contact support.
