Community standards overview
Family-Friendly Events is built around trust. Our community standards keep the directory safe, honest, and genuinely family-friendly. This is a plain-language summary — the full, authoritative document is our Community Standards.
What's expected
- Be truthful. Describe your business and experiences honestly. No impersonation or misleading claims.
- Keep it family-appropriate. Content on the platform should suit a family audience. We look at the content itself — not who a person is or what they believe.
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.
- Play fair. No spam, no fake reviews, and no manipulating the directory.
Common violations
The most frequent problems we see are promotional spam, off-topic or unsafe links, content that isn't appropriate for families, and reviews that aren't based on a real experience.
Who this applies to
These standards apply to everyone — families and vendors alike. Vendors should also read the vendor-specific Community Standards in full, which go into more detail about listings.
If you see something that doesn't meet these standards, report it.
